Another victim of the explosion in Salavat died in the hospital.

Another man who suffered severe burns in an explosion at an enterprise in Salavat, Bashkortostan, died in hospital. This was reported on May 19 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"A 44-year-old man who suffered severe burns and injuries in the incident in Salavat, unfortunately, died in hospital," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

Thus, the death toll from the incident increased to three people.

The building was never put into operation, but people moved into it by court order.

On May 16, an explosion occurred in Salavat at the Candle LLC paraffin production plant. 43 people and 17 pieces of equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the incident, including 20 people and 9 pieces of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. On the same day, during the liquidation of the consequences of the explosion, the body of the deceased man was taken out from under the rubble.

Later, on May 18, one of the four victims of the explosion in Salavat died in intensive care.
