Prosecutors began checking after a teacher slapped a schoolgirl in Primorye

In Primorsky Krai, the prosecutor's office is conducting an inspection after a teacher slapped one of the schoolgirls. The incident occurred at an educational institution in the village of Novodevitsa, Khorolsky district.

The incident was caught on video. At first, the woman shook the schoolgirl with her hands, and then hit her in the face several times, PrimaMedia news agency reports, citing the supervisory authority. The prosecutor's office intends to interview the school principal, teachers and parents of schoolchildren.

The police are conducting their own check. The identities of the participants in the incident and the circumstances are being established.

At the end of February, it was reported that a criminal case had been opened in Primorsky Krai against the class teacher of the first grade of MBOU Secondary School No. 5 in Tavrichanka on suspicion of improper performance of duties for the upbringing of a minor. According to the investigation, the defendant, being a primary school teacher and the class teacher of the first grade, mistreated one of her students.
