The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia is establishing the circumstances of a child's injury in a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region. This was announced on May 18 by the official representative of the department Svetlana Petrenko.
The attack took place on May 11 in the village of Khomutovka. As a result of the dropping of ammunition from a Ukrainian drone onto a civilian car, a five-year-old girl was injured.
"The mother of the injured girl told investigators about the circumstances of the crime, saying that she was driving a car and while driving through the village noticed a drone that dropped an explosive device on the windshield," the Investigative Committee said.
It is specified that the girl received shrapnel wounds. Investigators classified the incident as a terrorist act (paragraphs "a", "b", part 2, art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Employees of the Investigative Committee identify the militants of the Kiev regime involved in the commission of the crime.
On May 18, Petrenko reported that the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation had opened a criminal case on a terrorist attack after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a private house in the village of Kukuyevka in the Kursk region, as a result of which a local resident was injured. The attack took place on May 2, a drone strike was carried out against civilians.
