Police officers have detained seven people in the Dutch city of Eindhoven due to riots during the celebration of the victory of the Dutch football club PSV Eindhoven (PSV) in the match of the final round of the Dutch championship. This was announced on May 19 by the Omroep Brabant broadcaster, citing a law enforcement official.

"During the riots, large groups of supporters opposed the police. Among other things, stones, bar tables and fireworks were thrown. A special police unit had to intervene," the publication says.

There is no information about the victims of the incident yet. Against the background of the incident, the demonstration arrival of a bus with football club players at the stadium was canceled.

The calm atmosphere returned to the stadium around 21:30 local time (22:30 Moscow time).

The Tagesspiegel newspaper reported on May 11 about 44 injured during the victory celebration of the Hamburger SV football club in Hamburg. It was clarified that spectators from the stands jumped onto the field, some were injured as a result of scuffles after the match.
