Shaman will represent Russia in the Intervision music competition


Honored Artist of Russia, author and performer SHAMAN (real name — Yaroslav Dronov) will represent the country at the international music competition "Intervision". This was reported on the air of Channel One on May 19.
"The organizers of the competition decided that Shaman will represent Russia at the international music competition Intervision in Moscow on September 20, 2025," the channel said.
Dronov, commenting on this, told Izvestia: "I serve Russia!"
Mikhail Shvydkoi, Special Representative of the President of Russia for International Cultural Cooperation, said on February 11 that representatives from over 20 countries would take part in the Intervision contest. It is planned to be held in September 2025.
On April 30, it was reported that the Intervision International Music Competition would be held on September 20 at the Live Arena in Moscow. The competition is a platform for cultural exchange and demonstration of mutual respect for the traditions of the participating countries. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Turchin on April 7, invited Belarus to participate in the international music competition "Intervision".
