- ROSSETI will invest more than 3.3 billion rubles in the development of electric grids in Udmurtia
In 2025, ROSSETI will invest more than 3.3 billion rubles in the network complex of Udmurtia. This was announced by the company's CEO Andrey Ryumin at a working meeting with the head of the republic Alexander Brechalov.
"We are currently building a 110 kV substation in the Zavyalovsky district, which will provide conditions for the development of Izhevsk suburbs. The facility is being created from scratch, it will be equipped with advanced domestic equipment. We will modernize several mainline substations, on which the sustainable operation of the entire Udmurt energy system depends," Ryumin said.
According to Brechalov, ROSSETI is systematically increasing the reliability of electricity supply to consumers in Udmurtia. "In the first quarter of 2025 alone, we recorded an 11% decrease in accidents in Udmurt networks. High-quality preparations for the past autumn—winter period and the successful passage of the heating season are, first of all, the comfort and safety of residents, the uninterrupted operation of the most important social facilities," he said.
The meeting also discussed plans to connect industrial enterprises to the grid, including the country's first large-scale production of permanent rare earth magnets, which is being created in Glazov, and a Russian-Chinese metalworking plant in Izhevsk (a new 110 kV substation will be connected to it).
As part of his trip to Udmurtia, Ryumin visited a multifunctional network management center, which was opened last year by a subsidiary of Rosseti Center and Volga Region in Izhevsk. In its area of responsibility there are 35 thousand km of power transmission lines, more than 220 35-220 kV supply centers. According to the company, this facility has made it possible to strengthen control over the operation of power grids and reduce the response time to any violations.
