A partially collapsed 15th-century bridge in the village of Kunki in Dagestan poses a danger to local residents. The head of the settlement Khalik Rabadanov told Izvestia about this on May 19.

"There is a threat that children may fall into the river. There are no railings, the bridge has partially collapsed, it is very dangerous. At the moment, no vehicles are passing through," he said.

Rabadanov added that the 15th century bridge was built exclusively of logs, without the use of nails and steel.

"There is no concrete, reinforcement— nothing. But due to the collapse, there is a possibility that water gets on these logs, and the logs begin to rot. We must preserve this architectural monument, which was built by our ancestors," the head of the settlement emphasized.

On May 18, in the village of Kunki in the Dahadaevsky district of Dagestan, an ancient bridge built back in the 15th century partially collapsed due to heavy rains. The ancient building in the republic is recognized as an object of historical heritage of regional significance.
