Sobyanin spoke about the work of Russia's largest perinatal center

More than 20 thousand babies were born in Russia's largest perinatal center at Vorokhobov Hospital No. 67, which is located in Moscow. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about the first results of the institution's work.
The center provides assistance to high-risk pregnant women who need special medical support, Sobyanin recalled in his Telegram channel. He stressed that in difficult cases, doctors perform operations already in the first hours of a child's life.
"It combines advanced technology, care and professionalism of medical staff," wrote Sobyanin. During the work of the center, doctors treated about 350 newborns weighing less than 1 kg, the smallest patient weighed 415 g, the mayor noted.
The center is equipped with more than 200 pieces of expert-class equipment. Small rooms, showers, and staff call buttons are provided for patients. Medical staff regularly upgrade their skills in simulation and training centers, Sobyanin noted.
