The income of VK Video authors under the new monetization program has increased sixfold

The income of the VK Video platform authors has increased almost sixfold over the six months of the new monetization program. This was reported to Izvestia on May 19 by the VK press service.

"In April 2025, the average income of bloggers increased 5.7 times compared to April 2024," the report says.

It is specified that 80 thousand authors are involved in the program, including independent creators of video content and individual professional studios. The highest payments are observed in the categories of "Children's content", "Games", "News", "Entertainment", the amount exceeded 1 million rubles.

In addition, VK noted an increase in content activity. According to their data, the volume of video content downloads and posts is increasing by 8% weekly, and the average daily viewing time by the end of the first quarter of 2025 increased by 29% and reached 3.17 billion.

On May 15, the VK Video press service reported a 90% increase in the number of authors over the three quarters of 2025.
