A large cache of NATO-style weapons and ammunition was discovered in the DPR


A cache of weapons and ammunition manufactured by NATO countries has been discovered in the industrial zone near the settlement of Elizavetovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The footage was published on May 19 by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR.
"A cache of NATO—style weapons was identified, including almost 2,000 rounds of ammunition, more than 50 tank and mortar shells, and a dozen varieties of shells and mines," the ministry said.
In addition, law enforcement officers found 14 explosive devices, more than 200 kg of gunpowder, a PG-9 infantry grenade launcher, a Javelin anti-tank missile system, 20 grenades and 29 rounds for a grenade launcher.
The found ammunition has been moved to temporary storage. After the examinations, the future fate of the weapons will be decided.
On May 16, Rosgvardiya special forces found a cache of weapons and ammunition in the house of a militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The special forces seized a grenade launcher, an AK-74 assault rifle, ammunition related to small arms, and hand grenades.
