Timma's father demanded that Sedokova be punished if she was guilty of the basketball player's death.

The father of basketball player Janis Timma Raitis demanded that singer Anna Sedokova be punished if she is responsible for his death. Raitis added that the actress should give the proceeds from the sale of the apartment to Janis' six-year-old son from his first marriage, Christian. He told about it on Sunday, May 18, in an interview with Izvestia.

"Neither Janis's mom nor I need her blood money, but we have a grandson, all that's left of our son. He needs this money," said Raitis Timma.

According to him, lawyers are currently determining the amount of the payment.

The basketball player's father accused the singer of driving his son to suicide. In this regard, he demanded a fair punishment for Sedokova.

Timma's death became known on December 17, 2024. It was noted that there was a screen saver on his phone with the inscription "Call Anna" and the artist's phone number. The day before, he had been congratulating Sedokova on her birthday on social media. Before that, in October, it became known that the singer had officially filed for divorce from Timma.

On January 15, the forensic examination in Latvia allowed a criminal version of the death of Janis Timma. A friend of the athlete called on everyone to wait for the results of the investigation into the circumstances of the death of the basketball player, which is underway in the republic. However, on January 27, it was reported that, according to the results of the investigation, the suicide of the basketball player was established. Investigators could not confirm other versions of death.

On May 18, a representative of Timma's family, lawyer Margarita Gavrilova, told Izvestia that the son of the deceased basketball player needed the funds received from the sale of the athlete's apartment by his ex-wife. According to her, Sedokova does not get in touch and does not answer calls. We are talking about an apartment in the Moscow elite residential complex "Scarlet Sails", which the basketball player and the singer acquired while married.
