The calculation of the FPV drone "Lightning" of the Vostok group destroyed two armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The calculation of a Lightning-type FPV drone of the Vostok group of forces destroyed MaxxPro armored fighting vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Yuzhnodonets direction of the special military operation (SVO) in the area of the village of Otradnoye. This was announced on May 19 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that one of the armored personnel carriers, which carried out the rotation of the Ukrainian formations, along with the personnel was hit by an accurate hit by an FPV drone.

The second MaxxPro was blown up in a remotely installed minefield. The damaged vehicle was finished off by a second Lightning-type FPV drone equipped with a reinforced warhead.

The day before, on May 18, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the operator of FPV drones of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a US-made Stryker armored personnel carrier (APC) and disrupted the rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The APC was transporting Ukrainian militants near the village of Komar, but was detected by Russian military personnel using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The operator hit the target with an FPV drone equipped with a night vision camera.
