Tatiana Basova, a Soviet and Estonian film and theater actress, died at the age of 64. This was announced on Sunday, May 18, according to The Voicemag magazine.
According to the daughter of actress Ellen Kilgas, Basova became worse after the operation.
"It was a long-term illness. After knee surgery in November, his condition began to deteriorate. It wasn't cancer, it was just that several problems coincided at the same time. The body did not accept the foreign body, and the general condition was weak. The doctors did everything possible, they supported her to the end," Ellen said.
Basova was born on June 7, 1960. She graduated from the Tallinn Choreographic College, and then from Tallinn University. Since 1978, she has worked as a ballet soloist with the Estonian Ballet Company.
In the film "Over the Rainbow" she played a history teacher Svetlana Mikhailovna. She also played the role of Lelia Svetova in the film performance "Night Confession" (1984) and the image of Cecilia in "Two Couples and Loneliness" (1984). In total, her filmography will include five works.
