Four people were injured in an accident involving an ambulance in Stavropol


In the Izobilnensky district of the Stavropol Territory, a car collided with an ambulance, injuring four people. This was announced on Sunday, May 18, by the regional department of the State Traffic Inspectorate.
"At about 19:20 on the 3rd km of the Moskovskoye highway adjacent to the Stavropol - Izobilny – Novoalexandrovsk – Krasnogvardeyskoye highway, the driver of a LADA Kalina car drove into the lane intended for oncoming traffic (where it is allowed by road markings), colliding with a GAZ car (ambulance)", — says the publication of the department in Telegram.
The 33-year-old driver and the 32-year-old passenger of the car, as well as the 35-year-old driver and the 40-year-old passenger of the ambulance were injured. All the injured were hospitalized.
As specified in the department of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region, the LADA Kalina driver showed no signs of alcohol intoxication, his driving experience is 1.5 years.
At present, an investigation has been launched into the accident, and all the circumstances are being established.
On May 17, a truck collided with an ambulance in the Obluchensky district of the Eastern Administrative District, resulting in the death of a nurse, two more people — an ambulance driver and a paramedic — were injured. The injured ambulance staff were hospitalized. The paramedic is in the intensive care unit, the ambulance driver's condition is assessed as stable.
