The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region has opened a criminal case after a fire in the village of Molzino in the Noginsky district, in which three people died. This was reported on May 18 by the Telegram channel of the department.
"According to the results of an inspection of the scene by an investigator of the territorial investigation department of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence to two or more persons. — Ed.)", — stated in the message.
It is noted that, according to the expert, the fire was located above the canopy attached to the house, where the electric car was charging. The investigation seized fragments of wiring, an electrical panel and a car battery. Expert examinations were ordered in the case.
The death of three people in a fire in Molzino became known earlier in the day. — their bodies were found in the basement of a building on Sovetskaya Street. Another person was injured. The fire also destroyed three cars.
