Sobyanin spoke about the results of the Moscow School Olympiad

Students from 406 metropolitan schools received awards following the results of the Moscow School Olympiad, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
This year's Olympiad was held in 23 areas, including robotics, financial literacy, ecology, art history and genetics.
According to Sobyanin, more than 4.7 thousand people became winners and prize-winners.
The Moscow School Olympiad was first held in the 1930s. Today, the mayor noted, it is no longer just an intellectual competition. "The Olympiad has gone beyond the usual form: tasks are held in museums and research centers, and participation in it is not only a test of knowledge, but also an inspiring immersion in science, culture and creativity," he stressed.
So, this year, the guys were looking for answers at the Zoological Museum of Moscow State University, studied paintings at the Tretyakov Gallery, painted and sculpted at the Carl Faberge College of Decorative and Applied Arts.
Sobyanin also recalled the holding of a pre—professional Olympiad for those who want to try their hand at interdisciplinary fields. Winners and prize-winners can receive benefits upon admission (additional points or enrollment without exams).
