Instigators of the conflict between teenagers were detained in Dagestan

In Dagestan, police detained the instigators of a conflict between teenagers in Makhachkala, which led to a mass brawl. This was announced on May 18 by Israfil Israfilov, head of the Regional Management Center (SDG).

"In connection with the recent conflict between teenagers in Makhachkala. The Interior Ministry promptly detained the instigators and active participants. The minors were taken to the police station, and administrative protocols have been drawn up against the parents," Israfilov wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the situation is under control.

"An interdepartmental meeting is taking place today with the participation of representatives of the Ministries of Internal Affairs, Education, Youth and Culture. Measures are being discussed to prevent such cases in the future," Israfilov added.

Earlier that day, the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia organized an investigation into reports of mass brawls among teenagers in Makhachkala. Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed Dmitry Belyaev, head of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan, to report on the progress of the inspection and the established circumstances of the incident to him personally.
