A woman died when a billboard fell at Sharm el-Sheikh airport.


An advertising billboard fell on passengers at the Egyptian Sharm el-Sheikh airport, killing a citizen of Kazakhstan. This was announced on May 18 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
"Yesterday (May 17th. An advertising billboard collapsed at Sharm el-Sheikh Airport in the departure area of passengers waiting to board a flight. As a result of this accident, a citizen of Kazakhstan was killed and two more of our compatriots were injured," TASS quoted the ministry as saying.
It is specified that the victims receive the necessary medical care. The Consul of Kazakhstan, in turn, contacted the relatives of the deceased girl.
The ministry noted that Egypt expressed its condolences over the incident. It is clarified that the country's Minister of Civil Aviation took control of the incident and sent a commission to the scene. The Kazakh Embassy in Egypt is also monitoring the incident.
On May 8, Azteca TV channel reported at least seven casualties as a result of the collapse of the stage structure in Mexico City. It was clarified that two people needed hospitalization. The Mexico City administration expressed its willingness to participate in providing all necessary assistance to the victims.
