The six-year-old son of the deceased Latvian basketball player Janis Timma from his first marriage needs the funds received from the sale of the athlete's apartment by his ex-wife, singer Anna Sedokova. A representative of Timma's family, lawyer Margarita Gavrilova, told Izvestia about this on May 18.

"We have calculated all the dividends received from the sale of the apartment in Scarlet Sails, and we want this money for the child, for the son who was left without means of livelihood. The family wants justice, the family wants her [Sedokova] to be punished for driving to suicide," Gavrilova said.

According to her, Sedokova does not get in touch and does not answer calls. We are talking about an apartment in the Moscow elite residential complex "Scarlet Sails", which the basketball player and the singer acquired while married.

On January 15, the forensic examination in Latvia allowed a criminal version of the death of Janis Timma. A friend of the athlete called on everyone to wait for the results of the investigation into the circumstances of the death of the basketball player, which is underway in the republic. However, on January 27, it was reported that, according to the results of the investigation, the suicide of the basketball player was established. Investigators could not confirm other versions of death.
