The launch of the Indian PSLV-C61 rocket as part of the EOS-09 mission failed due to technical problems in the third stage. This was announced on May 18 by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

"The 101st launch attempt was made today. The performance of the PSLV-C61 was normal until the second stage. Due to the observation on the third stage, the mission could not be completed," The Indian Express newspaper quoted the statement.

According to ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan, quoted by NDTV, the pressure in the chamber of the spacecraft's engine body has dropped. The head of the organization clarified that experts are currently studying all the characteristics.

On March 7, SpaceX announced the unsuccessful launch of the Starship spacecraft. It was clarified that communication with the device was lost a few minutes after launch.
