The operator of the FPV drones destroyed the Stryker APC and disrupted the rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its area

The operator of the FPV drones of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a US-made Stryker armored personnel carrier (APC) and disrupted the rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the South Donets direction. The relevant footage was provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Sunday, May 18.

The APC was transporting Ukrainian militants near the village of Komar, but was detected by Russian military personnel using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The operator hit the target with an FPV drone equipped with a night vision camera. As a result, the combat vehicle caught fire.

"The actions of the UAV crew made it possible to timely stop the maneuver attempt of the Ukrainian formations and prevent the advance of armored vehicles with manpower to the line of combat contact," the defense ministry reports.

The battery's military personnel destroy dozens of targets every day, including enemy locations, equipment, and boats.

The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that military personnel of the Zapad group of forces had destroyed a robotic platform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krasnolimansk direction. Using a drone, they detected the movement of the Ukrainian platform along the forest belt. Then the detected target was destroyed by the calculation of the FPV drone.
