The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has launched an investigation into a car bombing in California. This was announced on Sunday, May 18, by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the country, Pam Bondi.

"I was informed about the explosion at the reproductive medicine clinic in Palm Springs, California. Federal agents are now at the scene [of the incident], responding together with local law enforcement agencies," she wrote on her Facebook page. Twitter).

Bondi also noted that the explosion occurred at a fertility clinic. Local authorities do not rule out the possibility of a terrorist attack.

Earlier, on May 17, in California, as a result of a car explosion, one person was killed and five injured. A law enforcement source said there was no information about the victims or possible motives yet, but a fertility clinic could have been the target of the attack.
