In Dagestan, a 79-year-old driver died when a car fell off a cliff. This was announced on Saturday, May 17, by the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"On the 41st km of the Buinaksk -Gimry–Chirkata highway, a 79–year-old driver, driving a Chery S12 car, lost control, drove off the road and overturned into a cliff 15 m high," the department said in a Telegram channel.

The man was hospitalized with multiple injuries, but he died in the hospital.
