The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked four districts of the Belgorod region


The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked settlements in four districts of the Belgorod region. This was announced on May 17 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
In the city of Shebekino, a warehouse caught fire during a drone attack, and a parked bus was hit by shrapnel.
"In the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Shebekinsky district, an FPV drone was suppressed by the electronic warfare system - the roof, windows, facade and fence were damaged in an apartment building," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
In addition, the village of Shvedunovka and the village of Lobkovka were shelled in the Valuysky district, and the glazing of a private house in the latter was damaged by an explosive wave. Also, in the village of Bochanka, Volokonovsky district, two outbuildings were damaged as a result of the detonation of a drone.
In the Belgorod region, the strikes ignited the roof of an apartment building in the village of Oktyabrsky and damaged the wall of a warehouse at an agricultural enterprise in the village of Bessonovka.
There were no casualties or casualties as a result of the attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Gladkov added.
Earlier in the day, Gladkov reported that during the day, more than 100 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Belgorod region. In total, air defense systems eliminated 45 drones and one aerial target over the region during the day. As a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks, one person was killed and another was injured.
