In the village of Vladimirovka, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), one man was killed and another was injured as a result of the detonation of an explosive device. This was announced on May 17 by the dispatching service of civil defense and emergency situations of the administration of the Volnovakha district of the republic.

"At 15:30 in the urban—type settlement of Vladimirovka, as a result of the detonation of an explosive device, a man born in 1956 was injured and a man born in 1969 died," the administration's Telegram channel says.

The authorities urged citizens to be attentive and vigilant, to look carefully at their feet and not to pick up unfamiliar objects.

On May 10, the head of Donetsk, Alexei Kulemzin, reported that a civilian was injured in the Petrovsky district of the city when an explosive object detonated. A woman born in 1963 was injured. Kulemzin added that the victim received medical assistance.
