Four people were killed in an accident on the M-8 highway in the Moscow region.

On the federal highway M-8 "Kholmogory" in the Moscow region, a truck collided with a minibus, resulting in the death of four people. This was announced on May 17 by the Prosecutor's office of the Moscow region.

"According to preliminary data, today at about 2:30 p.m. on the 87th kilometer of the M-8 Kholmogory highway, a KamAZ truck and a Mercedes minibus collided," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is reported that as a result of the accident, four passengers of the minibus died on the spot. The driver and one passenger were taken to a medical facility for treatment.

The Sergiev Posad Prosecutor's office took control of establishing the causes of the incident.

On the same day, a bus accident occurred on the 36th km of the federal highway M-5 in the Ramenskoye district of the Moscow region. According to the regional prosecutor's office, a truck and a passenger car collided on the highway, and later a bus crashed into them. 14 people were injured in the accident, and they are receiving all the necessary medical care. A criminal case was opened into the collision.
