A criminal case on the provision of unsafe services has been initiated following an accident with a bus on the M-5 Ural highway in the Ramenskoye district of the Moscow region. This was reported on May 17 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (GSU IC) in the Moscow region.
"A criminal case has been opened in Ramenskoye over an accident that injured bus passengers. An investigator from the Moscow Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case into the provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of citizens (Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," RIA Novosti said in a statement.
It is indicated that the investigators are establishing the circumstances of the accident.
An accident with a bus on the 36th km of the federal highway M-5 in the Moscow region became known earlier in the day. According to the Prosecutor General's office, a truck and a passenger car collided on the highway, and later a bus crashed into them. 14 people were injured in the accident, and they are receiving all the necessary medical care.
