Trump criticized Walmart for raising prices

US President Donald Trump has criticized the American company Walmart, which operates the world's largest wholesale and retail chain, for raising prices amid new US duties.
"Walmart needs to stop blaming tariffs for price increases across the chain. Walmart earned billions of dollars last year — much more than expected," Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
The American leader stressed that he would monitor the company's actions regarding pricing policy.
"Walmart and China should, as they say, "swallow the duties" and not take a penny from their valued customers," Trump urged.
On April 2, Trump announced the introduction of 10% base duties on products imported from other countries. For the European Union, this figure was raised to 20%, and for China — to 34%.
On April 9, the US president announced the suspension of duties previously imposed on a number of countries for 90 days. He also announced an immediate increase in duties on products from China to 125%. On April 10, this figure reached 145%.
