Two civilian helicopters collided over an airfield in Finland


Two civilian helicopters collided in the sky over the airfield in the community of Eura in the Finnish region of Satakunta, the Yle portal reported on May 17.
According to media reports, both aircraft fell to the ground after the accident. Specialists and law enforcement officers promptly arrived at the scene of the emergency.
"The authorities found two crashed helicopters in the area. Fire extinguishing and rescue operations are continuing. The rescue service did not comment on information about possible victims," the message says.
Earlier, on May 3, a Robinson R44 II helicopter crashed in the city of Suzhou in eastern China. One person who was on the ground at the time of the crash was killed, four were injured and were hospitalized. The incident is under investigation.
