A veteran of the SVO told about the attempts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants to hide behind children in Bucha

In Bucha, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) hid behind children. Alexey Kusakin, a veteran of the special military operation, announced this on May 17.

He shared that he had participated in the special operation since the day it began. According to the veteran, he was undergoing exercises in Belarus when the command came to move to the border with Ukraine.

"I saw such things with my own eyes in the city of Buche, at school the ukrofascists hid behind children so that they would not be taken. When you see that a child is in the window, and a ukrofascist is standing next to him, and you can't do anything, because you understand that the children <...> have done nothing wrong," the fighter said in a video posted on the Telegram channel of the governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko.

Kusakin clarified that the Russian military, in turn, were engaged in the evacuation of minors from the territory and did not think that they were from Ukraine. According to him, he and his colleagues primarily relied on the fact that they were children.

Melnichenko clarified that Kusakin is currently engaged in volunteering, as well as patriotic education of young people. According to him, the veteran conducts "Lessons of Courage" and has registered to participate in the Heroes of the Penza Region project.
