The head of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to organize an investigation into the death of a four-year-old child in an Egyptian hotel. This was reported on May 17 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
"The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the SU (Investigative Department. — Ed.) in the Yaroslavl region, Bessmeltsev [Alexander] should organize a pre-investigation check and submit a report," the Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the deceased child was born in Yaroslavl. The boy's parents said that the tragedy occurred due to gross violations of security rules by the hotel. According to them, there were no warning signs on the territory, but they were installed after the death of the child.
His mother Elena told Izvestia about the death of the child on May 16. According to her, the child climbed into the fountain with the infinity effect, in which the edges are not visible, and fell off the wall while trying to get out. She stressed that there were also no guards on the premises.
