A storm warning has been announced in the Rostov region.

A storm warning has been issued in the Rostov region due to adverse weather conditions. This was reported on May 17 in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"During the period of 14-16 hours and until the end of May 17, as well as on May 18, a complex of adverse meteorological events is expected in places in the Rostov region," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, heavy rains, showers combined with thunderstorms, hail and strong winds of up to 23 m/s are expected in the region.

On May 16, it was reported that a storm warning was announced in the Krasnodar Territory for Sunday, May 18. In Labinsky, Mostovsky, Kurganinsky and Otradnensky districts of the Krasnodar Territory, water levels in rivers are expected to rise, in some places exceeding unfavorable levels.
