Russian military "Geraniums" hit the parking point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Sumy region

The Russian military with the use of drones "Geran-2" hit the parking point of weapons, military and special equipment (VVST) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Sumy region. This was announced on May 17 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that the VVST belonged to the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is noted that the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation also defeated the temporary deployment point of the Ukrainian army.

According to the ministry, the affected area was located in the area of the village of Velikaya Chernetchina.

Earlier that day, it was reported that the crew of the 122-millimeter D-30 howitzer of the 18th combined arms army of the Dnepr group of forces destroyed the drone control point of the Ukrainian formations on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. The location of the camouflaged howitzer was established during aerial reconnaissance. After masking the cannon and aiming the howitzer at a given point, the military of the Russian Armed Forces hit the command post and the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with three volleys.
