The expert predicted a decrease in salaries in IT and marketing

Salaries in IT and marketing may decrease in the near future. Vladislav Bykhanov, managing partner of the CORNERSTONE recruitment company, announced this on May 17 in an interview with Gazeta.Ru».
According to him, salary growth among IT specialists has slowed down due to the curtailment of projects and the active introduction of artificial intelligence technologies that can replace some developers, analysts and testers. He stressed that, at best, revenues in this area will remain at the current level.
"Historically, the salary market for IT specialists has been overheated, and now it is being reassessed and returned to fair values," Bykhanov said.
The expert added that companies have begun the transition from extensive to intensive development, focusing on robotics and digitalization. This allows you to automate processes and reduce dependence on line staff. According to him, the introduction of robotic solutions can reduce the number of employees by 30-70%.
Salaries are also not expected to increase in marketing, as companies are focused on working with current customers and are not increasing the recruitment of specialists.
At the same time, according to Bykhanov, lawyers, economists, financial analysts, doctors and robotics engineers maintain a stable income level.
Earlier, on May 12, it was reported that in Russia, every second company is ready to raise wages and review the workload in order to retain an employee. Experts have found that 93% of employers attempt to retain an employee if he wants to quit. At the same time, 35% always do this, and 58% — depending on the position of the employee. Only 7% of respondents admitted that they are not trying to retain employees at all.
