Two underage train drivers died from electric shock after climbing onto the roof of an electric train at the Kansk-Yeniseisky station of the Krasnoyarsk Railway. This was reported on May 17 in the press service of the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violations of the rules of safety and operation of railway transport, resulting in the death of two persons")," the department's Telegram channel says.
Previously, the students boarded the rolling stock on the evening of May 16. As a result, they received life-threatening injuries from electric shock coming from the contact network.
