The IDF reported on the successful interception of the Israeli Air Force drone


The Israeli Air Force (IAF) intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) launched from the east. This was announced on Saturday, May 17, by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
"The UAV launched from the east was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force," the army said in a statement.
They added that, in accordance with protocol, the sirens were turned on.
The day before, on May 16, Al Jazeera TV channel reported that more than 100 people were killed in the Gaza Strip as a result of strikes by the Israel Defense Forces. According to the TV channel, the Israeli military, among other things, hit a civilian car in the enclave. Four people were killed in the attack, including three children.
On May 13, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the country's army would enter the Gaza Strip in the coming days to completely defeat Hamas. According to him, the fighting will not stop until the goal is achieved.
