Thousands of users have reported a malfunction in Telegram

Russian users reported failures in the Telegram messenger. This follows on Saturday, May 17, from data from the Downdetector portal.

In just one day, more than 3.1 thousand users complained about failures.

According to the service, 45% of people complained about notification failures, 32% noted violations in the operation of the mobile application, another 12% — website failures, and 7% - general technical problems.

The messenger worked the worst in Yakutia, the Leningrad Region and the Moscow region.

Earlier, on May 7, a number of mobile operators malfunctioned in Moscow. In particular, the press service of the Megafon mobile operator informed Izvestia about problems in its networks. It was noted that the failure occurred for reasons beyond the control of the company. Problems were also observed in the work of T2, MTS and Beeline.
