10 prisoners escaped from a prison in New Orleans, USA. This was announced on Saturday, May 17, by ABC News channel.

One of the prisoners, Kendall Miles, was detained on the same day in the French Quarter, a popular tourist destination. According to officials, he was found hiding under a car in the hotel garage.

Initially, the authorities stated that 11 people had escaped, but they did not know that one of them had just been transferred to another cell.
