Corporal Krylov shot down the Ukrainian Baba Yaga drone using a drone

Guard Lieutenant Rustam Gilmiyarov commanded the assault group of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) and was tasked with taking control of a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Friday, May 16, reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of a special military operation (SVO).
Gilmiyarov studied the terrain in advance and developed a plan involving an attack from the flank. Having imperceptibly approached the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian assault group went on the offensive. Suddenly taken by surprise, the enemy began to retreat, losing some of their personnel. Galmiyarov's group took control of the stronghold, but soon the enemy decided to attempt a counterattack. Gilmiyarov led the defense, as a result, the stronghold remained under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, and the AFU group was completely destroyed.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the competent actions of Corporal Pavel Krylov, who was conducting reconnaissance of the area using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) when he noticed a drone approaching the Russian positions. Krylov determined that the object was a Baba Yaga hexocopter.
Controlling the drone, Krylov bypassed the enemy drone and carried out an attack from behind. The enemy hexocopter lost control and crashed without harming the Russian positions.
Earlier, on May 16, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Senior Lieutenant Yaroslav Chunosov received a combat mission to adjust the fire of mortar, artillery and tank crews of the Russian Armed Forces. While conducting reconnaissance to find new targets with the help of a drone, Chunosov discovered a camouflaged AFU stronghold.
