The United States plans to reduce the number of its military in Syria to 900 people.

The United States intends to reduce the number of its military personnel in Syria from 2,000 to 900. This was reported on Friday, May 16, by Al Jazeera TV channel with reference to the White House.

"We continue to withdraw our forces from positions in Syria and in the coming months will reduce the number of troops from about 2,000 to 900," the publication says.
