More than 65 thousand Moldovans lost electricity due to fire


More than 65,000 residents of Chisinau and seven other Moldovan cities were left without electricity due to the fire. This was announced on May 16 by the press service of the supplier company Premier Energy Distribution.
"Several streets in the Buiucan and Petrican sectors of Chisinau municipality, as well as the settlements of Durlesti, Truseni, Dumbrava, Gidigic, Vatra, Yaloveni and Kozhushna were left without electricity," the company wrote on its Telegram channel.
Now, according to the company, electricity has been fully restored.
It is specified that more than 70 firefighters and 13 emergency vehicles are working to contain the fire.
Large-scale power and communication outages occurred in Spain and Portugal on April 28. This affected major cities such as Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid, La Coruna and Seville. In the evening of the same day, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced the restoration of electricity in half of the country. Due to the incident, a state of emergency was introduced in the country.
