In the city of Gukovo, Rostov region, a 19-year-old girl beat her infant for several months, which she kept in unsanitary conditions. This was announced on May 16 by a source of Izvestia.

"Between February 10 and April 2, an unemployed mother improperly cared for her son, who was born in December 2024. The child lived in unsanitary conditions and was deprived of adequate nutrition, medical care and supervision. The girl systematically beat him," the source said.

He clarified that the boy suffers from congenital diseases, and he was admitted to the hospital in April. The child is currently under medical supervision, and a criminal case has been opened into the incident.

Earlier, on January 12, in the city of Timashevsk, Krasnodar Territory, a mother with many children was accused of beating her three-year-old son. The child's aunt, Yulia Yudnikova, told Izvestia that when she came to visit a family with three children, she noticed multiple marks of beatings on the body of one of the boys.
