A cougar seized from a Muscovite has successfully adapted to life at the Moscow Zoo

A male cougar named Hercules, seized from a resident of the capital, has successfully adapted to the Moscow Zoo and is in good physical shape. This was announced on May 16 by the zoo's press service.
It is noted that during his life with the owner in the apartment, Hercules often had seizures of epilepsy. However, since the cougar moved to the zoo, she has not had a single epileptic episode. Now, along with food in a bowl, the animal regularly receives medicines and vitamin supplements three times a day, and also participates in veterinary training.
"When assessing his general condition, experts observe positive changes. It can also be noted that Hercules has gained weight and is in good physical shape for an adult cougar," the zoo's Telegram channel says.
Hercules likes to spend his free time relaxing in his corner on straw or interacting with keepers. He actively makes contact with all specialists and does not avoid people. Puma also likes independent games with his toys.
The arrival of a male cougar at the Moscow Zoo, which was seized from a resident of the Kuntsevo district, was reported on March 7. The man kept a predatory animal in a cramped apartment for several years. The Mozhaisk district court of Moscow brought the owner to administrative responsibility for keeping a rare and endangered animal without documents, and also decided to confiscate the beast.
