A criminal case has been opened in the Leningrad Region on the fact of obstructing the legitimate professional activities of a journalist. This was reported on May 16 by the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF) in the Leningrad region.

"A criminal case has been opened against a 42-year—old man on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 144 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Obstruction of the legitimate professional activities of journalists, combined with the threat of violence against a journalist and his relatives")," the UK Telegram channel clarified.
