A man was killed in a collision between a passenger car and a pole in Primorye.

In the city of Artyom, Primorsky Krai, a 39-year-old man was killed as a result of a collision between a passenger car and a pole. The regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reports this in its Telegram channel.
The accident occurred on Friday, May 16, on the 1st km of the Vladivostok–Nakhodka– Mikhailovskaya poultry farm highway. According to police, the driver of the Toyota Nadia "did not choose a safe speed." The car flew off the roadway and crashed into a concrete pillar.
As a result of the accident, the 39-year-old motorist received various injuries, from which he died on the spot before the ambulance arrived, writes IA PrimaMedia. An investigation is underway into the incident, and all the circumstances are being established.
On the same day, another fatal accident occurred in Primorye on the A-188 highway. As a result, a 25-year-old moped driver was killed.
