A five-year-old boy who drowned in a river is being searched in Ingushetia

In Ingushetia, rescuers are looking for a five-year-old boy who, according to preliminary data, drowned in the Sunzha River. This was announced on May 16 by the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"At 17:15 (local time, coincides with Moscow time. The duty shift of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Ingushetia received information that a child born in 2020 drowned in the Sunzha River in the rural settlement of Plievo," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that 11 people and three pieces of equipment were sent to search for the missing boy. In addition, the agency has deployed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Six children between the ages of 10 and 12 fell through the ice of the Ith River in the Yaroslavl region on March 28. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that everyone was able to get ashore, no one was injured.
