A man died in a fire in a private house in Sibirtsevo in Primorye.

In the Chernigov district of Primorsky Krai, a 48-year-old man died as a result of a fire caused by carelessness while smoking. The regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reports about this in its Telegram channel.

The fire occurred the night before, on May 15, in a two-story private house in the village of Sibirtsevo. The body of the deceased man was found by rescuers who arrived.

"During the fire investigation, it was established that the fire was on a bed, next to which remnants of tobacco products were found," said Igor Kolodnyak, head of the Investigation and Administrative Practice Department for the Chernihiv Municipal District of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Primorsky Krai.

According to PrimaMedia news agency, the fire area was 1 sq. m. The preliminary reason in the Ministry of Emergency Situations is called carelessness when smoking.

On the night of April 22, a fire broke out in a one-story house with two apartments in Bashkortostan. As a result, a 72-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man were killed. According to the preliminary version, the fire occurred due to carelessness while smoking.
