"During the day on May 18, in places in the Krasnodar Territory, excluding Sochi, a complex of meteorological phenomena is expected in the form of heavy rain, heavy rain combined with thunderstorms, hail and strong winds with gusts up to 22 m/s," the department's Telegram channel says.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that in Labinsky, Mostovsky, Kurganinsky and Otradnensky districts of the Krasnodar Territory, water levels in rivers are expected to rise, in some places exceeding unfavorable levels.
