A truck carrying French soldiers overturned in Romania

A NATO truck overturned on a railway bridge in Romania, injuring two French soldiers. This was reported on May 16 on the website of the Romanian Ministry of Defense.

"In the area of the bridge over the railway in the town of Giblia Noue, on the bypass road of the town of Calimanesti, Vircea county, a truck that was part of a French military convoy overturned. Two French soldiers were injured in the accident," the report says.

It is specified that the wounded soldiers received first aid on the spot. After that, they were taken to the hospital in the city of Rymniku-Vylca. The condition of the victims is assessed as stable.
