A dead man was found under the rubble after an explosion at an enterprise in Bashkiria.

During the liquidation of the consequences of an explosion at an enterprise in the Bashkir city of Salavat, the body of a deceased man was taken out from under the rubble. This was announced on May 16 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"Rescuers found a dead 46-year—old man under the rubble in Salavat," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

An explosion at the Candle LLC paraffin production plant in Bashkiria was reported earlier that day. 43 people and 17 pieces of equipment were involved to eliminate the consequences of the incident. The Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the incident.
